Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was so busy that I hardly had a chance to rest. My favorite part was going to see A Christmas Carol with my mother. We had an amazing time. So, for today I have a fun little Christmas bear card to share with you. I used the newly released The Cat's Pajamas set called Big Bear along with the Icing CutUps. I paper pieced the bear with some Basic Grey patterned paper. To complete the card I added some ribbon and a 3d snowflake sticker from Anne Griffin Designs. I tried to go with organic and woodsy colors. Well, that's all for me today but make sure to check back for more stamping.

Hi All! I have a quick post for you today. The weather has been so chilly these past few days that I decided to warm up with this cute little set called "Sheepish". The little sheep from The Cat's Pajamas makes me want to cuddle up! Isn't he adorable?! I colored him with my copics and used some fabulous Making Memories patterned paper. I love all the sparkly paper. I also made him look icy with some TCP German glitter. The wide striped grosgrain ribbon can also be found at The Cat's Pajamas. Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am ready to get in the Christmas spirit! We put up our Christmas tree and decorations. I am getting so excited! I absolutely love this time of year. I am also ready to start mailing out my Christmas cards. I always leave it for the last minute but not this year. I am having so much fun with my new The Cat's Pajamas stamps that I have almost all my cards done. For this card I used the super adorable set called You Suit Me. Isn't she adorable?! I colored her in with Copics and added some fun 3d snowflake stickers. I also pulled out my new Big Scallop Border CutUp die. It's day six of our TCP sneak peeks and we are getting closer and closer to the release day! How exciting! Today, we are featuring another adorable set called "Jingle Bells". The set has the cutest little girl who is all bundled up in her scarf. I had so much fun coloring her. I also used another new CutUp die that will be released on Tuesday, November 23. I love the swirly border. I know this will be on lots of my cards from now on. The layout was last weeks TCP sketch challenge. I loved the sketch when I saw it but didn't have a chance to play last week so I saved it and made a card with it today! So, I'm sure everyone is enjoying all the TCP sneak peeks going on this week. If you don't already know The Cat's Pajamas is releasing some awesome new sets and CutUps on Tuesday, November 23. You guys are going to love them. Today, I am featuring the stamp set called 'Merry Wishes". Isn't she adorable?! I paper pieced her dress. The snowflake is a one of the new CutUps. I love it! I decided to hang some little glove punches from the flake. I think it brought the whole card together. I decided to use this patterned paper from My Minds Eye for this week's TCP Tuesday inspiration challenge. I took the lined circle patterned as my inspiration. Whew! I know I'm a little late but I am going on four weeks of being sick and everything has been sluggish lately! I can't seem to shake this cold and nagging cough. If anyone has any suggestion on cough medicine that actually works please share. I've been taking Delsym but it doesn't really take the cough away at night. I just want a good nights sleep. Well, enough complaining let's get to my card. This week's TCP Tuesday is all about the girls! How fun is that? Susie which is our hostess this week wants us to use a female image. I decided to use my "Who's This" stamp set. Don't you just love that little owl? I colored everything in with my Copics and added some 3D leave stickers to complete my Fall card. Witch Hat

Hi all! Today I have a fun little project/candy holder to share with you. I was pretty excited when I got my hands on the recently released The Cat's Pajamas pendant dies. My head started spinning and I saw so many possibilities. So, I can up with a little witch hat candy holder. I used the large and large scalloped pendant dies for this treat holder. All I did was punch out 3 pendant die cuts. Then, I scored about half an inch on the lower (unscalloped) part of the die cuts and the scalloped edges. After that, I glued the scalloped sides together leaving the top half unglued so it can open and the bottom scored part to circle die cuts. Then, I added some embellishments to complete the whole project. I tried to get better pictures but for some reason it was hard to photograph the hat. So, I guess these will have to do. The stamp is also newly released from The Cat's Pajamas. She is so cute with her little witch hat and cat. I colored her in and then cut her out and placed her on the hat with 3D glue dots. Well, that's all for me today but I have more cards to share with you soon.

Hi everyone! So, today I have a fun Halloween card to share with you. It features the super adorable The Cat's Pajamas little penguins that we all love. I am really starting to get in the Halloween spirit. I enjoy this holiday so much. I think it's because I love chocolate and it's the beginning of a cooler season. We got Josh's costume early this year so he has been in dress up mode since Monday! It's so funny to watch him come home and throw on his Luigi costume. He is on a real Super Mario kick lately. He even wears the hat until it's time for bed. LOL Anywho, let's get back to the card. I colored everything in with my Copics and paper pieced the pumpkin with some patterned paper. I used both new pinking dies. I am in LOVE with them! To complete the card I added some fun 3D bat stickers. I think they brought the whole card together. Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting in such a long time. Life as always has been busy busy busy!! First, I want to say that buying a car is one of the worst experiances ever! The whole process is exhausting and draining. I'm just glad it's over with and we finally have a new car. Sorry for the vent but I just had to let it out. LOL Well, today I have a fun The Cat's Pajamas car to share with you. I used the set called Little Bird. Isn't she adorable. I had so much fun paper piecing her little coat. To complete the car I added a big PTI ribbon bow. I really like how it brings it all together. Well, that's all for me today but I promise to come back sooner with some more cards to share. Happy Friday everyone! I am so ready for the weekend. This week has been so crazy. Let's just say that yesterday afternoon our car's engine caught on fire! Yup, there goes our car. I must say though that nobody got hurt so we are grateful for that. Luckily, Josh is finally adjusting to kindergarten. I honestly didn't realize how stressful kindergarten could be. I thought they were still playing at that age?! I was so wrong! So, now that I've bored you with my hectic week let's get to some stamping. Today I have a card featuring one of the new sets from the new release over at The Cat's Pajamas. The set is called Just Chillin' and I happen to think it's ADORABLE! It was so fun to paper piece and glitter up. I also used the new TCP CutUps. This is the the inside pinking CutUp. For the glitter I used TCP chunky German glass in Glitzy. I warned you that I would be using it a lot! To complete the card I added some ribbon and some snowflake die cuts. Well, that's all for me today but I have tons of cards to share with you. Welcome everyone, if you're coming from Beate's blog you're at the right place! So, are you ready for some shopping?! I hope so because all the new sets and dies are now available online at The Cat's Pajamas. I promise you are going to love all the new goodies! So, today we are having a TCP Tuesday blog hop! I love these. Our hostess is the uber talented Amy. She is challenging us to use plaid on our cards. I am a huge fan of plaid so I knew which paper I wanted to use for this challenge. The plaid comes from last year's Basic Grey Christmas collection. I combined it with the new set called Deep Breath. Isn't this bunny adorable?! I seriously can't get enough of them. I decided to also pull out my TCP Glitzy glitter again for the bunny hat. This card also features one of the new dies. The die used in this card is the Large Pinking Border. The dies are to die for!! It's a back to back TCP sneak peek day! That's right it's my turn again to showcase today's sneak peeks along with the super talented guest designer Jackie and the incredible Sony. I couldn't be more thrilled to show you guys these two adorable sets. I am having so much fun stamping with them. So, today I have a Christmas and a Halloween set. I can't tell you which I love best because they both are two cute for words. The first card features the set called Skating Bunny. I just love those big floppy ears! I decided to actually color him in and not paper piece! Gasp, I know! I was so tempted to piece his skates but I hesitated. haha! I also used some of my new FAVORITE TCP glitter in Holiday Glitzy on the snowflake. This glitter is chunky and looks so much like icy! You will definitely be seeing much more of that stuff on my cards! The sketch Jen's SFYTT! I love all her sketches! It worked perfectly with this card. Thanks Jen! For the second card I used the set called Little Devil. I mean seriously can this little guy get any cuter? As you can tell I gave into my paper piecing "evil" side and did his costume with some fun paper. Did you really think I could go a whole post without paper piecing?! To complete the card I added a little pumpkin charm from Making Memories. I think it ties everything together. Hi everyone! Hope you guys had a fabulous Labor Day weekend. We got hit with tons of rain here in Houston but we still managed to have a good relaxing time. Well, today is day two of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks week! How exciting! This release is going to be huge and in a great way. There are 12 new sets and 4 new dies! The official release day is September 14th. Today we are showcasing the set called Coffee, Tea or Meow? This set includes the super adorable Sprinkle! Doesn't she look adorable in her tea gear? I decided to paper piece the table cloth. I bet that was a surprise?! ha I also added some flower CutUps from the last release. This release will have some new CutUps so you won't want to miss them. They are fabulous! I have plenty of cards to showcase those coming soon. For now I settled on the cute flowers and felt. To complete the card I added some dew drops around the table rim. Taylored Expressions 2nd Birthday Bash!!

Wow! I can't believe that Taylored Expressions is celebrating their 2nd birthday today! It seems like yesterday that I got an email from Taylor asking me to be on her Baker's Dozen design team. I was so honored! Unfortunately, I had to eventually step down in order to focus more on my family but I still hold Taylored Expressions very close to my heart! I am so thrilled to see how much success has come to this amazing company in such a short time. So, you can imagine how happy I was when Taylor asked me to be part of Taylored Expressions 2nd Birthday Bash Blog Hop. So, if you can over from the super amazing Amy Sheffer's blog then your at the right place! When I got my stamps in the mail I couldn't wait to get inky with it. Cake Time!

Hi All! Sorry I've been MIA. I know I tend to do that very often but you know how being a mother and wife goes. hahaha So, Josh started school today and I am so sad that he is growing up so fast. He was so excited about going to big boy school. We met his teacher and classmates and loved them. I know he is going to have such a great time at school. Anywho, I also have a card to share today. It's a TCP card of course! You know I can't get enough of The Cat's Pajamas. This card features the adorable little bunny set called Forget About the Cake. I adore this little guy. I colored him in with copics and added some TCP german glitter to the cake frosting. The patterned paper used is from DCWV. I sorta went out of my comfort zone with these bold colors but I like how it turned out. I also used the new TCP button and flower CutUps along with some TCP felt. Hi All! So are you guys ready for the weekend? I know I am! Well before we get started let me share this fun The Cat's Pajamas card with you. I used the newly released A Whale of A Time set along with new TCP glitter and wave CutUps. I paper pieced the cute whale with some October Afternoon patterned paper. The waves were cut out of vellum and TCP felt from the Singing the Blues collection. I'm telling you the die cuts through this felt like butter. You get crisp edges ever time! To add some more sparkle I added TCP glitter to the wave caps. I like how it turned out. Other details include some buttons using the new TCP CutUps and some Zva Creative rhinestones to mimic splashing water. I'm backkk with some more sneaky peeks!! Today we are showcasing the set called "Good Friends". This set features the oh so cute penguins doing what I love most. LOL I am a huge TV person. I know TV fries your brain but I have so many shows to watch! Hehe So, I decided to color the couch in a blue to mimic denim. I then paper pieced the rug with some DCWV patterned paper. To add some embellishments I used my new TCP button CutUps along with the yummy TCP felt. I can't wait for you guys to try these products out. They are AWESOME! A Fresh Start

Did you notice my new and improved blog?! I am sooo excited about it. I have been wanting to change it for so long but hadn't come around to finding the right person to do it for me. Well, Heather Rolin fell from the sky and created the most amazing layout. Thank you so much Heather! She captured everything about me. My blog feels complete now. If you are considering a blog make-over I HIGHLY recommend Heather. She is one talented chick!

Hi All! So, it's been a while since I last blogged but things have been crazy. So many events going on that I haven't had time to blog. I made this card a few days ago using the newly released The Cat's Pajamas stamps and buttons. I am in love with these bunnines! I think the are adorable and so much fun to color. For this card I used my Copics and Cosmo Cricket patterned paper. I also used my Zva Creative rhinestones to embellish my card. I really like how it turned out. Well, that's all for today. Tequila Tutu!

Wow! I have to say that yesterday's TCP Blog hop was a huge success!! The Cat Pack and special guests came through with some awesome cards. So, just as promised I have a few more cards to share with you today. The first card features the set called Hola Tequila. You know how I feel about the penguin trio. They sing to my heart and in this case it's a mariachi song! LOL I used paper from Cosmo Cricket. I pulled the color combo from the paper and colored everything in with my Copics. To embellish my card I used some TCP buttons along with the new white twine. I love how it turned out. The second card features the set called Tutu Much. The set includes more of these whimsical bunnies. They seriously are tutu cute! I decided to paper piece her tutu with some SEI fabric paper. I used the same fabric to die cut the scalloped oval and circle. The fabric details up close are beautiful. To follow with the whimsy feel I used some white ink to sponge the edges. Again, I used some TCP buttons with the new beige twine. Can you tell I can't get enough of that stuff?! Well, that's all I have for today but I still have one for card to share featuring the new sets. TCP Blog Hop Challenge

Hi All! I'm so excited about this TCP Tuesday challenge because we get to have a blog hop featuring the newly released The Cat's Pajamas sets! Toni is our hostess for the week and also the starting point for the blog hop. She has a great polka dot bedspread as an inspirational piece for us. I decided to pull the circle polka dots and incorporate them into my card. Since, I love circles this was a fun one for me. The adorable little rabbit used on the card is from the set called Blow. I love love love the whimsical feel of this little bunny. It also goes so perfectly with the Cosmo Cricket patterned paper. I also used some of my fabulous twine to embellish my TCP buttons. The color used on this card is beige but Alma will also be releasing a white color too. Take my word on this the twine is AMAZING. I used to dread twine because it would unravel and fray but not this kind. It's worth every penny. So, that's all for me today but next in line for the blog hop is the fabulous Jen. A Challenge & A Preview

Hi All! So, today I have a preview to share featuring one of five new The Cat's Pajamas sets that will be released on April 13! You guys are going to love these new stamps. They are simply to cute for words. This set that I used for the TCP Tuesday sketch challenge features my favorite TCP penguins. I seriously think they look cute in any fashion but this Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorites. Alma is also releasing some AMAZING button twine! I promise that this twine will be the best you've ever tried. So, like I just mentioned the layout is from this week's TCP Tuesday challenge. Jen is the hostess with the mostess and she has created a great sketch for us. I love how you can display lots of fabulous patterned paper with it. I used Cosmo Cricket for this card. The buttons are also from TCP. So, if you want to play along in this week's TCP Tuesday all you have to do is upload your creation to Alma's guestbook. I can't wait to see everyone's cards. Hi All! Are you ready for another fun TCP Tuesday? I hope so because today the super talented Joanne has a fabulous color combo for us. I had so much fun with them. I decided to pull out my Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love" patterned paper for this challenge. I thought the paper went perfectly with the color combo. I colored everything in with my Copics and added some fun TCP glitter to the flower center. I love how that touch brought everything together. The images used for this card are from the TCP Hearts and Flowers set. The sentiment is from the Spring Fling set. Wow!! Can you believe that we've had 100 TCP Tuesdays already?! It's crazy how fast time flies when you're having fun. So, since today is a super special day over at The Cat's Pajamas it requires some celebration. Yup..it's contest time! There are 4 challenges going on featuring our 4 TCP Tuesday themes. The girls have made some samples and created a blog hop to inspire you for the challenges. The start of the blog hop is Leigh. You were sent over by the fabulous Amy and next up is Alma. My card features the supply challenge which requires you to use felt on your card. I love FELT so this challenge was right up my alley. I used some felt flowers to embellish my card. So, the Cat Pack is not only highlighting the challenges but also our favorite TCP Cat Pack Picks. I choose the super adorable "Beans & Bunnies & Peeps, Oh My!". If you want to enter and win here is all you need to know. The contest will go on for a week so all entries should be upload to Alma's guest book by Noon PST Monday, March 15. The winner will be chosen by the number of entries they have. The more entries the more of a chance you have. In the case of a tie, the winner will be picked at random. The more you play, the more chances you have to win.

Alma will announce the winner at Noon PST on Tuesday, March 16. Make sure you upload your designs to the guestbook for all to see.

Hi All! So, I'm a little late posting my TCP Tuesday card but better late than never. I swear lately I just haven't had the energy to do anything. I might have to do with the fact that I feel like I've been sick for over a month. This cold comes and goes! Well, enough whining from me let's get to the challenge. This week's hostess is the super talented Leigh. Leigh is the queen of sketches and she has created another fabulous layout for us. I decided to make a birthday card using "You Say It's Your Birthday" set since I always need one and never have one available. TCP Release Day Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!! So, did you send in all your ideas for our little bear's name contest? I can't wait to find out what you guys have named this little guy. The winner will be announced on Alma's blog February 9th and will be given all new stamps sets for the whole year! So exciting!! So, today we have a blog hop along with a TCP challenge to launch the new release. It's going to be jam-packed with tons of eye candy. I can't wait to see what everyone has made with their cute little bear. If you want to start at the beginning of the blog head over to Amy's blog. Amy is also this week's hostess for the supply challenge. She wants us to paper piece. This is one of my favorite things to do. I love the get patterned paper and add bits and pieces to stamped images with them. Our bear is also the perfect image to paper piece. His/her tummy is perfect for piecing..hehehe I made two cards using the challenge. The first card is a birthday card. I used some fun colorful paper on his tummy and added all kinds of fun birthday images. I love how this set has tons of images to embellish your little bear. I also used some of the new buttons and ribbon that can be found here. They are to die for! The second card is a Happy St. Paddy's card. I always neglect this holiday because I never have cute images. I am so happy to finally have one! I also paper pieced his tummy and added some rhinestones on the clovers. Hi everyone!! So, I'm a few days late posting my TCP Tuesday card but I have it done and I have an excuse. Poor little Joshi is sick again! I swear he gets over one cold and another hits a few days later. He has been coughing his little lungs out all day and night. Well, today not only do I have a sneak peek from The Cat's Pajamas but I also have a fun announcement. Alma is having a "Name that Bear" contest. It appears that the newest little guy/girl at TCP is nameless :( So, she wants everyone to put their thinking caps on and name Mr./Mrs. Bear. If you win then you will get new TCP stamps for the WHOLE YEAR!!! Yup, you heard right!! All you have to do is email with your name suggestion. One email per entry. Welcome to a VERY special TCP Tuesday challenge! If you haven't already heard the amazing news our very own Jen del Muro delivered a beautiful baby boy January 6th. We are so happy for the del Muro family. So in honor of baby Nicolas Robert everyone at TCP has created a baby boy card for this TCP Tuesday blog hop. The hop will start with the hostess with the mostess Joanne . She has challenged us to make a card using Jen's nursery decor colors. How cool is that?! I pulled out my very favorite TCP baby stamp! I swear I can never put this animal train down whenever I need a baby card. I was also very excited when I found this cool patterned paper that coordinates so nicely with the stamp. The larger animals remind me of the mommy's of the baby train animals..lol! Well, that's all for me today. I am so enjoying these stamps from My Favorite Things. This cute little owl is getting me in the Valentine's Day mood. How cute is he? He is from the Stephanie Fizer collection. I adore her designs! I colored him in with my Copics and sponged the edges. I am really loving that effect. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey along with the stickers and ladybug brad. I added some paper piercing and ribbon to complete the card. That's all for today but before I leave I want to wish everyone a good weekend!

Love Bot

Hey everyone! So, last night I pulled out the cutest little robot ever! He is from My Favorite Things. I decided to combine him with some fun Cosmo Cricket patterned paper I bought the other day. It goes perfectly with this little guy. I colored him in with Copic markers and added some paper piercing along the edges. I added an arrow to mimic the paper. To make the card look more robotic I added some faux screw brads. I think they make the perfect touch. I didn't want to add to much ribbon to an already busy card so I just put some ribbon tags along the side of the card. To complete the card I added some arrows with my white gel pen on the card base. Well, that's all for today.

Feel Better

Hi All! So, how about another feel better TCP project? I am having so much fun with these The Cat's Pajamas stamps. I adore how easy it is to make get well gifts for our loved ones. My sister is obsessed with cough drops so this one is dedicated to her. LOL I made this little container so that it could hold cough drops but it could really be used for anything. I colored everything in with my Copics and then added some TCP embellishments. Aren't these colors the best?! I know some of you asked for the template for the previous project. I am in the process for locating the website for these patterns. They are actually not my designs and as soon as I get the site for them I will share it with you. I know it's in one of my million bookmarks. LOL Anywho, that's all for today.

Get Well

Hi All! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! Ours was so wonderful. We spent it with family and friends. I haven't had much time to stamp but I did have this project completed from a few weeks ago to share. For this fun little creation I decided to pull out my TCP "You Sick Thing" images to make a mini first aid kit box. I colored everything in with my Copics and added some American Craft patterned paper. I added some TCP buttons to the top of the box. I also did some paper piercing and piecing. The ribbon is from PTI. Well, that's all for today but I plan to have a TCP Tuesday card tomorrow.

Hi All! Sorry I've been gone these last couple of days. With the holidays around the corner I have been so busy. This year seems to be more hectic than ever. Since Josh is 5 now he is really enjoying and understanding Christmas so much more. We've had a blast taking him to see lights, Santa Claus, and other festivities. I haven't had to much time to stamp but I did finish this scrapbook page using the super adorable TCP holiday stamps. I seriously adore these images. I also used TCP embellishments such as glitter, brads, and ribbon. Well, that's all for today but I hope to have some more projects and cards to share with you soon.

Can you say a little late? I finished my TCP Tuesday card last night but haven't had a chance to post it on my blog until now. It's been crazy these past few days. Josh's birthday is around the corner and I have tons of little errands to complete. I tend to leave everything for the last minute so this time I want to be early. (keeping my fingers crossed) lol So, yesterday's challenge was brought to you by the fabulously talented Joanne. She has a great color combo for us. I had some fun with this one. She wants us to use light pink. kraft, and vanilla. I decided to pull out my new TCP holiday stamps along with some Basic Grey patterned paper. I completed everything with some TCP glitter and buttons. I really love how it turned out.

Hi All! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. We had an amazing time with family and friends. There is so much to be thankful for and having your loved ones celebrating with you is one of them. Today we are all praying for my cousin Alejandra who is having brain surgery as we speak. I ask that if you have some time please say a prayer for her. Her story is on this post if you missed it and would like to know. She asked me to thank everyone who sent her cards. They really made her day and put a smile on her face. I am working on a special get well card for her but right now I have a The Cat's Pajamas card to share. I used my new "Penguin Christmas" set for this card. I adore this little penguin! Isn't he the cutest?! The best part is that he and all stamps at TCP are 25% off!! Make sure to check out the awesome deals going on. I colored everything in with my Copics and sponged the outside with ink. I added some Zva Creative brads that mimic the patterned paper. Hi All! So, it's time for another super fun TCP Tuesday. This week's challenge is so fun. The super talented Amy wants us to emboss today. I am so glad she is asking that we pull out our embossing tools because I haven't used them in forever. I decided to use my Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder for this card. I used the super fun "Make Merry" and "Coolvetica" alpha. I really like how the background came out with the stamped new year numbers. To complete everything I added some super fabulous SEI ribbon and Zva Creative rhinestones. Well, that's all for today but I have another Christmas card to share tomorrow. How about another card featuring the newly released The Cat's Pajamas sets?! I am having so much fun with these stamps and supplies. I decided to use the super cute skating penguins for this card. I colored them in with my Copics and then sprinkled some TCP clear chunky glitter to resemble ice. I think this glitter is amazing!! I also added some silver for a little more sparkle. I love how it turned out. To complete the card I added my sentiment along with a satin bow. Well, that's all for today but I have a few more TCP cards up my sleeve. Hi All!! I am so excited about today's The Cat's Pajamas blog hop! TCP is releasing 5 new sets tomorrow! They are seriously AMAZING. So, to celebrate the release, Alma has organized a super fun blog hop. If you want to start from the beginning then head over to Susan's Blog. The set I am featuring today is called "Give A Little" along with some new accessories that will also be available. The buttons are called Vintage Holiday and the glitter is Holiday Glitzy. I paper pieced the teddy bears tummy and added some glitter on the hat. To complete the card I added some buttons and tied some twill. I love the vintage feel of this card. Hi all! I know I'm super late on posting my TCP Tuesday card but technically I still have 20minutes before Wednesday comes around. hehe Today's super talented Hostess is Joanne and she has a fabulous color challenge for us. The colors inspired me to use my soon to be released The Cat's Pajamas Hanukkah set called "Shine Bright". This set along with a few others will be released on November 10. You are going to love these sets!! So I cheated a bite on the challenge by adding some color but I think Joanne will forgive me. I used the new My Mind's Eye patterned paper. I love that stuff! A Sad Goodbye and A Request

Hi All! So, today is a bittersweet day for me. I am announcing my departure from the Taylored Expressions Baker's Dozen Design Team. I've had such a wonderful time with Taylor and all the talented girls on the team. The stamps and DT have become a part of my heart and I will miss them dearly. Lots of things have changed in my life these past few months. My sister in law was just diagnosed with breast cancer and my cousin with a brain tumor. All these events have made me realize that I need to focus more on my family. I will continue to stamp since it's a form of therapy just in a slower pace. I want to thank Taylor for giving me the honor to be on her team.

So, now to the request. As I just mentioned my cousin Alejandra was just diagnosed with a cerebral brain tumor. She is only 30 years old and a newlywed. She has accomplished so much in her short years. She is already an MD and was currently practicing her internship in a Miami hospital. I've truly never met anyone so driven and passionate about helping people. Unfortunately her dreams of starting her practice have been postponed until she is better. Now she needs our help. I have decided to make her a card and send it to her every week. She needs all the love and support to get through this. So, my request is to help me send her cards. If you happen to have a card laying around that you feel you can part with please send it to my cousin Alejandra. I've already sent her a few cards and she absolutely loves them. They have really brightened her day. My card today features the beautiful Taylored Expressions "Fresh Flowers" and "Faith and Hope". I hope she likes it. I feel the quote is so powerful. Fright Night

So, are you ready for another spooky Halloween card featuring the adorable TCP "Fright Night" set? I hope so because I have another card to share today. But before I begin I want to thank everyone for such a warm welcome back. I love my girls!! So, I colored the images with my Copics and used my new My Mind's Eye-Boo To You paper and accessory kit. I am in love with these patterned papers and die cuts. I combined them with the spooky ghosts images to make a fun little card. I added some TCP glitter on the ghost bow ties and tree leaves. Hi All! So it's been over a month since I last posted something on my blog. How time flies! I've been busy with some personal and family issues and decided I needed a break from Blogland. I have missed you all and am so thankful for all the emails asking if I'm alright. I've done some stamping the last few days. Its felt so good to get back to my studio. I made some Halloween cards and I was browsing my blogger reader I noticed that TCP is having a Haunted Blog Hop! How fun is that? The beginning of the blog hop starts with the amazingly talented Susan. I can't wait to start blog hopping! For this card I used the ADORABLE TCP set called "Fright Night". I love these images. Taylored Expressions Release Day!

Today is the day ladies!! All new stamps are now available online over at Taylored Expressions! I can't wait for you guys to see the sets in their entirety. I know you are going to love them! For today I decided to pull out my Berries & Cherries set again. I am seriously in love with these images. They make my mouth water every time I use them :) I also wanted to use my Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients. I know I already made a card using the new key ingredients but I love them so much I had to use them again. These kits really lend themselves to so much variety. It's always so easy for me to just grab the KI and go! I colored everything in with my copics. To add texture I did some paper piercing and embossing. I really like how this card turned out. So, not only are these two new sets available, but Taylor also has some new bundles. I love how she offers these bundles of amazing coordinating products at a great value. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

So, are you ready for some more Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks?! Well, today I have a card featuring the second of the two sets that will be released tomorrow. This set is from Whimsical Wishes and is called "Chillax". Don't you just love that word? I represents everything good about the summer. This set has something refreshing and cool for everyone. I decided to "make" a strawberry margarita...yummo!! I colored it in with my Copics and then added some crystal effects to create the frost glass look. I think it looks good enough to drink :) This set doesn't have coordinating key ingredients but it is part of an awesome bundle called "Kick Back Beverage Bundle" which includes tons of embellishments and extras at an AMAZING value! Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1!

Wow..it's the beginning of another month! This year is flying by so fast. Looking forward to all the new Taylored Expressions stamp releases each month make it go even quicker! Today is the first day of the new sneak peeks. Two new fabulous sets will be available online Wednesday, August 5! The set featured today is called "Berries and Cherries" along with the coordinating key ingredients. I am in LOVE with this set because strawberries are absolutely my favorite fruit. I especially love them dipped in chocolate so this set has my name written all over it :) I decided to use last week's SCS sketch challenge as inspiration. I love how the layout allows me to display various images. All materials are from the new key ingredients except the brads. I decided to pull out my Taylored Expressions "For the Love of Cupcakes" set. I adore these little cupcakes. They are yummy! I paper pierced the cupcake top with some very sparkly DCWV Sweets patterned paper. Then I topped it off with some beautiful flowers. I would have never thought of putting these colors together but I had so much fun with them. They are perfect for the summer season. I used my new The Cat's Pajamas "By the Sea" set. I color Poochie in with my Copics and added some German Glass Glitter that is also available at TCP. The buttons and ribbon are also new embellishments released this month! You are going to love them. The sketch is from this week's SCS sketch challenge. It's been forever since I played along in one of those challenges. Hi all!! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. So, it's time for another fun Taylored Expressions July Key Ingredients challenge. I actually made this card a few weeks ago since I forgot that we were postponing the challenge for a while..silly me =) Anywho, I made this card using The Cat's Pajamas stamp from the "Hearts and Flowers" set. I adore this little Spring image. I colored everything in with my Copics and framed it with some fun colorful card stock. To complete the card I added some ribbon and tied a cute bow on the sentiment. Christmas in July Blog Hop

Hi All! So, just as promised today I have a fun surprise to share with you. Some of the girls over from Taylored Expressions have organized a fun Christmas in July blog hop! Sound fun?! Hi All! I am so happy to finally get some time to stamp. Summer has been crazy but lots of fun so far. Today I have a fun TCP Tuesday card to share. The Hipster Hostess this week is none other than the super talented Carole. She has an awesome sketch for us to play with. I switched it around just a bit to fit my stamp. I used the new TCP Happy Camper stamp images. Isn't this owl the cutest?! I also pulled out my floral soft to create a soft patch of flowers at the base of the trunk. I really like the subtle detail. Well, that's all for me today but tomorrow brings a fun surprise so don't forget to check back.

Hi All! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Today I have a quick post and card to share. Last night I decided to pull out my new Stamp A Sweet Impressions 'Beach Bum" set. I adore these cute little cuppies having some fun in the sun. It's been so hot here in Houston that playing with these little guys was refreshing. I paper pieced the sailboat sails and colored everything else in with Copics. All other card stock, patterned paper, and accessories are from the Beach Bum Key Ingredients set. I love this stuff!! Well, that's all for today but I plan to have another TCP card later on this week.

4th of July Fireworks Bag

Hi All! Today, I have a cute little project to share that is being featured in the Taylored Expressions Newsletter. Woot Woot!! I am so excited about being the newsletter guest this month. If you haven't signed up for the TE newsletter you should because they always have awesome projects on display. It also informs you on all the important info going on over at the Taylored Expression store. To join the mailing list all you have to do is enter your email on the link provided in the TE store. Ok, back to the project. Since, the 4th of July is quickly approaching I decided I wanted to make some fireworks gift bags for the kiddos on our street. Every 4th of July all the neighbors like to come out and have a block party. So, this year I want to have a little something for all the kids. These were super simple to make. All I did was use my nestabilites star die cuts (the largest and following size.) Then, I made a 8 1/4 x 1 1/2 strip. I scored 1/2" on both sides and cut slits along the score lines. This will allow the strip to bend around the star. Adhere strip to star and then add your fireworks and candy. The darling little image used on this project is from Taylored Expressions Year of Sweets 2 along with the Year of Sweets sentiment. Taylored Expressions Release Day and a Challenge!

Today is the day ladies!! How exciting...all stamps are available right now over at Taylored Expressions! I can't wait for you guys to see all the stamps. So, today I am featuring three sets. The first sample is from the new Whimsical Wishes line called "For the Love of Cupcakes". This set will leave you drooling!! I made a card with the cupcake die cut card that is part of the Cupcake Bundle. Seriously, this bundle is so worth it because all the extras are SUPER cute! The glitter stickers on the inside of the card and heart on the cherry are also part of the bundle. All other accessories like card stock, ribbon, and patterned paper are part of the Cupcake Key Ingredients. Love them too! So, next up is a combination of two sets. The cute teddy is part of the WW "Beary Special" set that is also available today and the new line Lasting Impressions called "Faith & Hope". This special set includes tons of beautiful inspirational quotes and Bible verses for encouragement during tough times. I also combined it with this week's Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I love this sketch. To create the this card I also used the May 20th Key Ingredients. Only the vellum and rhinestones are not part of the kit. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

I am so excited about today's sneak peek! I am in love with these cute little beach cuppies...aren't they the cutest?! So, to showcase all the adorable images in the new Taylored Expressions SASI stamp set called "Beach Bum" I decided to make a little beach supply basket. I went to Target the other day and found the cute little basket, sand castle shovels, and eye glass case in the dollar spot area. I took them home and came up with this little gift ensemble. The best part is that it was super easy to make. All I did was make tags for each item using the new set and Beach Bum Key Ingredients. I stamped the sunglasses image on the case with white Stazon ink. All the card stock, ribbon, patterned paper, and rhinestones are from the new Beach Bum Key Ingredients. Don't forget that this month will have two new Key Ingredients but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see my other sneak peek...*grin* Another cool part of these sets and ingredients is that Taylor is offering a great deal called "Beach Bum Bundle" you can get all these stamps, key ingredients and more at a great value!! Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1!

Are you ready for the biggest Taylored Expressions release EVER?!! I hope so because Taylor has a gigantic and amazing amount of stamps being released on June 5th AT 8:00am PST. You are going to be blown away. Seriously, I am not kidding you! Today we are featuring the newest Whimsical Wishes sets called Beary Special & Beary Special Accessories. These two sets are the next releases in Taylored Expressions quarterly charitable program called the TE Giving Tree. A portion of the proceeds from each stamp set sold will be donated to Sick Kids. The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) is a health-care community dedicated to improving the health of children. Their mission is to provide the best in family-centered, compassionate care, to lead in scientific and clinical advancement, and to prepare the next generation of leaders in child health. The hospital is located in Canada, but is known around the world for its innovation and leadership in research. So, not only is this set adorable but it goes towards a good cause. Also, this set is especially important to designer Nancy McKinney who's family was helped by them. Please visit Nancy's blog for the story of her son Henri. These sets will come untrimmed in order to reduce cost and allow more profit to be donated to the foundation. The rubber is supper soft and easy to trim so you won't have any problem. TCP Sneak Peeks Day 2!

I'm so excited to show you this cute little The Cat's Pajamas project I made with the new release today! When I saw the squirrel and nuts image I knew I wanted to make some type of trail mix holder. I decided on making a little bird feeder or cylinder holder. I like the bird feeder option because all the squirrels in my backyard are ALWAYS trying to eat the bird feed. So, I went with that theme...LOL! Hence the "Oh, Nuts" sentiment. Along with the "Happy Camper" set I used the new "Nightie" alphabet. I am loving this font. It's ADORABLE. I used it to stamp NUTS... on the vellum with white stazon ink. The "Oh" on the tag is also using the Nightie alphabet. Again, I used the buttons and ribbon from the new TCP accessories line. You are going to love this stuff. Well, that's all for today but don't forget that all these cute new stamps and accessories will be available tomorrow! TCP Sneak Peeks!!

Hi All! So, are you ready for some The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks?!! I hope so, because I have some fun little projects lined up for you. Today I wanted to share my little Honey Bun slider. I love Honey Buns and I figured so would a hungry little bear! LOL! This little project was SO easy to make. All I did was use my curved rectangular nesties. I taped the sides together with sticky tape and embellished the front. It was easy but I really like how it turned out. I can see these as quick and cute party favors for a camping themed birthday party. The ribbon and buttons used on the front are from the new TCP line. Yup, you heard that right...The Cat's Pajamas is now offering awesome new embellishments! I love the new ribbons and buttons! Don't forget that this new set will be available on Friday, May 29th! Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope everyone had a fabulous 3 day weekend! We spent ours relaxing and catching up with the family. We had a nice time. Anywho, today I have some fun news to share. I am this week's TCP Tuesday Hipster Hostess with the Mostess! Whoot Whoot! Toni, usually has the inspirational challenge but she asked if we could fill in for her this week. I am super excited to be the Hostess. Toni picked out the awesome picture as inspiration so she gets all the credit for the great piece. I decided to pull out my Hula Sprinkle for the challenge. I played with the colors and the fashion theme. The little Hula Sprinkle reminded me of the body form with the skirt and necklace. I also added some circles with Zva Creative corduroy brads and rhinestones. I couldn't find a place to add my sentiment in the front so I decorated the inside with a Zva Creative rhinestone flower and TCP sentiment. All in all I like how it turned out. Well, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Here are all the details you need to know.

Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredients Challenge!

So, it's time for another Taylored Expressions monthly Key Ingredients challenge. This challenge was designed for all the ladies that are part of the Key Ingredients monthly subscription. Make sure to check out Taylor's blog for all the details on how to join the club. I'm telling you it's totally worth every penny!! So the challenge for this month is to use faux stitching and the restriction is no sentiment on the card front. Easy peasy! For the faux stitching I used my white gel pen to draw some dots around the scalloped circle. I'm not sure if that is completely faux stitiching but it is faux..lol I didn't add a sentiment but I was sneaky and added a stamp image with a small sentiment on it already. I hope that's not considered cheating..lol I colored everything in with my Copics and used the SASI "Doctor's Orders" set. Happy Tuesday everyone! So, today I have a fun TCP Tuesday card to share with you. Today's Hipster Hostess is the super talented Carole. She has an amazing sketch for us to sample. I decided to pull out my main little cowboy Ronnie from the Cowboys and Indians set. I love him to pieces!! I colored him in with my Copics and added some bling to his belt buckle. The crystals are from Zva Creative. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket and it goes perfectly with the whole western theme. The chipboard star was painted with Shimmerz Blingz in Spiced Cider. To complete the card I tied some twill on the star and added some big pewter eyelets. Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #68

Happy Friday everyone! So, are you ready for another fun Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge? Well, Taylor has created another fabulous sketch for us to sample. I decided to pull out my brand spankin' new MFT Birthday Flopsey. He is now available online! Isn't he adorable?! So, for this card I used the DCWV "Sugar" patterned paper. Since the patterned paper is so busy I tried to keep everything else somewhat simple. I colored Flopsey with my Copics and paper pieced his cake. He is also popped out with 3D glue dots and then I curled his ears for extra dimension. The ribbon used is from PTI and the buttons are Basic Grey. To complete the card I did some paper piercing around the main circle panel. Well, that's all for me today but if you want to play along in the challenge here are all the details you need to know.

It's that time again, ladies!! My Favorite Things has another fabulous release this month. I love each stamp set like always. For this stop I am featuring the new Stephanie Fizer "Snuggle Bunnies". I adore this set. I cuttlebugged the moon and added some crystals to resemble stars. The bunnies are colored in with Copics and then popped out with 3d glue dots. I took a detailed shot so you can see the dimension. Patterend paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery. Well, that's all for me but make sure to hop on over to Susan's blog. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

Happy Monday everyone! So, are you ready for another Taylored Expressions sneak peek?! I hope so, because today I have a fun Father's Day card from the set called "Boys Will Be Boys" from Whimsical Wishes. This set is a must have for all the boys/men in your life. It fits perfectly for any "manly" occasion. For this card I used the golf image and charm. The charm is part of the Boys Will Be Boys bundle. Make sure to check Taylor's blog for all the details. All the ingredients except the brads and gliiter are from the new Taylored Expressions Father's Day Ingredients. You are going to LOVE this kit. It comes will kinds of cool stuff like brads that look like screws, cool ribbon, and much more. I decided to use some TE glitter for the golf grass. I know glitter doesn't sound very manly but I'm sure that my husband wouldn't expect anything less.LOL! Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1!

Hi All! It's that time of the month again..Yay! SASI from Taylored Expressions is releasing two new sets on May 5th. How cool is that? Today all the girls from the Baker's Dozen are are featuring the new SASI "Doctor's Orders" set. This collection includes tons of adorable get well cuppies. I mean....you always need to get well cards in hand. I colored everything in with my Copics and used the Easter Key Ingredients more most of the card. I love these kits because they are so versitle and can be used for any occasion or season! To complete the card I added some Zva Creative crystal chains. I think it finished off the card perfectly. Happy Friday everyone! It's been two weeks since my last Taylored Expression Cupcake Challenge and I'm so excited to be back. I love this new sketch Taylor has created for us. Since, I'm on a challenge high I decided to combine this sketch with this week's TCP Tuesday inspiration challenge. The TCP Hipster Hostess for this week is none other than Toni! She has found some awesome glasses from the Museum of Modern Art as inspiration. I decided to play with the colors and the outdoor theme. I decided to use my Spring "Hearts and Flowers" set. I adore these images! I colored everything in with my Copics and added a row of "faux grass" along the bottom. I love that small little element. The patterned paper I used is from Cosmo Cricket and card stock is PTI. Well, that's all for me today but if you want to participate in the challenges here is everything you need to know. Happy Spring

Hi All! So, it's been a few days since the last time I posted. A lot has happened in which I felt I needed a small blogging break. My beloved dog of 12 years passed away and I've been dealing with it pretty hard. She was a family member and a huge part of my life. I'm still mourning but stamping last night felt good. It's my birthday today so my spirits are high...27 is pretty old though...LOL! Anywho, today I have a fun Spring card to share. I used the SASI Taylored Expressions Year of Sweets 2. I love this little Spring scene. It really makes me smile :) I colored everything in with my Copics and added some TE "Fire Engine" red glitter. The crystal chains are from Zva Creative along with the cordoury brads. To complete the card I added some satin ribbon and bow. MFT Blog Hop Time!!

Hi All! I am so glad to be back. I can't believe it's been over a week since I blogged last. Josh has been really sick and now our 12 year old Bulldog is sick. It's been a hard week! Well, aside from all the yucky sick stuff I did get to stamp today. Yay! I am so excited about this MFT mid-month release because MFT is announcing a new talented designer. Her name is Amanda Baird and she is AMAZING. Her first set is called "What a Girl Wants". I love her sassy style! I colored my image in with Copics and paper pieced her dress. Taylored Expressions Release Day!

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend. I have a quick post today featuring the last of my Taylored Expressions sneak peeks. I decided to use the Whimsical Wishes "Fresh Flowers" set again. I am seriously having so much fun with these flowers. For this card I decided to create a window bouquet with tons of spring blooms. I layer them to create a 3D effect and added some flower soft to their centers. (I told you I love that stuff!) The patterned paper on this card is from Taylored Expressions Easter Key Ingredients. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

Are you ready for more Taylored Expressions sneak peeks?! Well, I am super excited about today's post and project. When I first saw the new adorable Stamp A Sweet Impression "Downtown Diva" I knew I wanted to make a little purse for it. I didn't want to make another card so I pulled out my nestabilites and came up with this little purse/handbag. I used the curved rectangles to make the base for the purse. I used card stock and patterned paper from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients. Once, I ran the die cuts through the cuttlebug I then cut a strip of pink 3" x 10.75" cardstock. This strip will connect the rectangles together. I scored the strip at 3/4" on both sides (long ways). Then, I scored 3" on both sides (short ways). Once, I did that I cut some slits where the score lines met. This allowed the strip to bend. Lastly, I adhered both rectangles to the strip and added some eyelets and ribbon. I also tucked some tissue paper inside. I used the sentiment from the "Fresh Flowers' set since I want to give this to my mother. I think the card from yesterday and the purse will make a cute gift ensemble. Well, I hope you've enjoyed my sneak peeks so far. I still have one more to share so make sure to check back tomorrow. A Challenge & A Sneak!

Happy Friday everyone! I have some serious goodness to share with you. Today marks the first day of Taylored Expressions sneak peeks and a new fabulous sketch challenge! Sweet! I am loving these two new sets that will be available on Sunday, April 5th. So, the girls from the Baker's Dozen are debuting the new Whimsical Wishes "Fresh Flowers" set today. These stamps are STUNNING. Apart from stamping, my other passion is flower arranging, so this set really screams my name. I also love how versatile it is. You have so many options for card themes. Love that! I decided to combine this image with the new Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. The layout really let me show off the new stamps. All the patterned paper, card stock, rhinestones, and shimmery flowers are part of the new Mother's Day Key Ingredients. Seriously, the whole concept of having a perfectly selected group of supplies is GENIUS! It's so easy to create beautiful cards with this system. To make the card extra special I decided to add some soft Ivory Flower Soft. I think this is my new addiction! Hi All! I'm back with some altered goodness. Today I have a cute little birdhouse I found at the dollar store. When I saw it I knew I wanted to make something with it. I naturally went straight to my Whimsical Wishes "Branching Out" set to embellish the birdhouse. I started by painting the whole birdhouse with white acrylic paint. Then I took some ModgePodge and patterned paper from the Easter Key Ingredients and adhered it to the roof. The tag and ribbon are also from the Easter Key Ingredients. Then I stamped the leaves from the Branching Out set with VersaFine Onyx black ink and colored them in with my Copics. The birds were stamped, cut out, and then adhered with 3d glue dots. So once I finished that I decided to bling it out with some awesome Zva Creative crystal chains and felt flowers. Aren't they beautiful. The corduroy brads are also from Zva Creative. Anywho, that's all for today but tomorrow brings more stamping goodness!

MFT Blog Hop Time!!

Hi All!! Are you ready for some MFT blog hopping?! I hope so because this month's release is AWESOME! MFT is releasing 4 new sets this month! How cool is that? If you want to start at the beginning go to Kim's blog. So, for this stop I have a fun cocktail and Flopsey to share. When I first saw the new "Girl's Night Out" set I knew I wanted to make a frosty margarita card. I LOVE frozen margaritas with salt so I went to town. I started by coloring in the margarita with my Copics and then adding crystal effects. The rim is embellished with some clear beads to resemble the salt. I also decided to make a cute little umbrella. All I did was fold a small piece of cardstock and added a rhinestone. I really love how this turned out. I think it would make a fun girls night out invitation. For the second card I used the new "Flopsey's Flowers" set. Isn't he the cutest? I colored everything in with my Copics and added some Flower Soft to the flower centers. Well, that's all for me but next in line is the fabulously talented Paula! I can't wait to see what she has for us!

Happy Friday! I'm so happy the weekend is finally here. Hopefully, it will stop raining so we can enjoy the outdoors. So in honor of spring I decided to pull out my favorite little chicks from The Cat's Pajamas. These darling little gals are from the set called "Beans, Bunnies, and Peeps, Oh My!". I colored everything in with my Copics and then I matted it with a Zva Creative rectangular crystal frame. To add more detail I sprinkled some Flower Soft in pink on the branches. I also decided to sprinkle some between the crystals since the exposed adhesive allowed the FS to adhere perfectly. I really like how it turned out. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket. The felt flowers and eyelets are also from Zva Creative. Hi All! Today I have a fun MFT Presents card featuring the newly released Hooga Booga friends. I adore these little guys. I also decided to pull out my new favorite patterned paper from MFT. I love the fun spring colors. I paper pieced the Booga with patterned paper and added a heart brad. I also embellished her dress with some fancy Zva Creative crystals. She is framed with a nesties die cut. The flowers and brads are also Zva Creative. When, I finished the card I thought it need something so I pullout out my stitching rub-ons and added them along the edges. I think it really pulled everything together. Happy Friday! So, have you heard the awesome news from Taylored Expressions? Well, if you haven't here it is...Taylor is debuting the first ever Key I ngredients Subscription! How cool is that? If you've never ordered the key ingredients before then you are really missing out. They come with coordinating patterned paper, cardstock and embellishments all in one value-packed kit handpicked by Taylor! Kits will be released on the 20th of each month. MFT Blog Hop Time!!

Hi All! It's time for another fun MFT blog hop! This mid-month release features two new MFT Presents set by a new illustrator named Sara Williams! How exciting! I love the fresh new ideas new illustrators bring. The sets that will be released are called Funky Flowers and Spring Sprouts. They are both adorable. Today I am featuring the Spring Sprout set. When, I first saw it I knew I had to create a card with the rainbow! I love rainbows! They remind me of my childhood and all the fun cartoons I used to love. Care Bears and Rainbow Bright come to mind. So, I colored everything with my Copics and popped up some clouds and darling butterfly with 3D glue dots. I then stamped the sentiment and added a fun little bow. BTW don't you just love that sentiment. It's so true! Hi All! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. So, today I have a fun little project to share with you. I used my new The Cat's Pajamas spring set called "H earts & Flowers"for this altered heart. This idea started when I went to Micheal's and found this wooden heart on sale. I snatched it up and took it home. I decided I wanted to make it into a cute wall hanging/decor. I started by painting the heart with white acrylic paint. Then, I adhered the patterned paper to the bottom tier of the heart with ModgePodge. When that dried I added some glitter to the center heart. Then, I used some fun Zva Creative crystal chains to embellish the edges. The silk flowers and rhinestone brads are also Zva Creative. The darling monkey image was colored in with Copics and then added to the center of the heart with 3D glue dots. To complete the wall hanging I added some twill to the top of the heart with Zip Dry glue. I really love how it turned out! Well, that's all for today but I'll be back with more creations.

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe this week is almost over! Boy, did it fly by. Well, today I have a fun St. Paddy's Day card featuring the new Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I had so much fun with this sketch. I also decided to pull out this Riley moose image that I've had since last year. This is the first time I've inked it up. I hate when that happens. I have so many stamps that are in real need of some love. I colored Riley with my Copics and did some paper piercing around the edges. The patterend paper is from MFT. You really need to check out the new MFT paper stacks online. They are super cute and of high quality. The adorable little brads are from Doodlebug Designs. Hi All! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Today I have a fun card to share using the newly released My Favorite Things Stephanie Fizer "Hooga Booga" set. I adore these little creatures. They are super whimsical and cute. I colored everything in with my Copics and then added some glittery Shimmerz Blingz in Wintergreen. Patterned paper is Crate Paper Honey Bee collection. To highlight the sentiment I used some Zva Creative crystal chains in light blue. I love those crystals! Well, that's all for today but tomorrow brings more stamping.

Taylored Expressions Release Day!

Today's the day ya'll!! All new Taylored Expressions sets are online and on sale right now! Yippee!! So, to enable you a little bit more, I made a card using the new Stamp A Sweet Impression "Sweet Spring" set. I colored everything in with my Copics and framed it with a circle and scalloped circle nestabilities. I drew some dots around the scallops with my white gel pen. Patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket "Honey Pie" collection. I also decided to add some Basic Grey buttons to add to the whimsy. I really like that touch of detail. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

Hi All! Are you guys having fun with all the sneak peeks? Well, today is filled with basketful of blessings! I love that sentiment which is part of the new Stamp A Sweet Impression "Sweet Spring" set. It also comes with tons of adorable Easter images. I picked the cute Easter cupcake stamp today. Isn't it darling? I love this time of year because we get to pull out all the pastels. To embellish my card I used the new Taylored Expressions key ingredients. The paper, flowers, ribbon, and brads in this set are my favorite key ingredients yet! I also combined the card with this week's SCS sketch challenge. I thought the layout fit the stamps perfectly. Well, that's all from me today but tomorrow brings more cards! Don't forget that all these sets will go on sale at midnight tonight! I can't wait for you guys to see them all!

MFT Blog Hop Time!!

Yay!! It's time for another super fun MFT Blog Hop! I seriously love this concept of starting at one place and hopping to another blog. It makes viewing all the amazing MFT creations so much easier.
